FabLab @ Dublin Maker Faire – 26th July

Date

About this event

FabLab NI attends the Maker Faire in Dublin – Irelands largest collection of makers, hackers, designers and DIY enthusiast.

Join us for a one-day, hands-on, family friendly, free, outdoor celebration of making on the Physics Lawn of Trinity College Dublin.

Dublin Maker will be held on July 26th in a tented festival space on the grounds of Trinity. It is a free to attend, family friendly and community driven event. Dublin Maker takes the form of a 'show and tell' experience where inventors and makers have an opportunity to showcase their creations at individual booths in a carnival atmosphere. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning.

The festival event itself is a culmination of ‘hack, craft and make’ activities. Makers range from tech enthusiasts to crafters, educators, tinkerers, hobbyists, engineers, artists, science clubs, students, authors, and commercial exhibitors. They are of all ages and backgrounds, coming from all over Ireland and beyond. Our mission is to entertain, inform and connect the makers of Ireland, while inspiring the next generation of Ireland’s makers and inventors.

Dublin Maker takes place during the Festival of Curiosity, Dublin’s outstanding science festival. We are delighted to be partnering up with our curious friends this year again and to be helping to make a truly unforgettable weekend full of science, creativity and curiosity.
