Laser cutters can be used for a wide variety of projects. Using a combination of cutting and etching, you can realise very precise, creative objects on many different materials . However, laser cutters are relatively easy to use. 

This introductory course will teach you how to design for and operate one of the laser cutters within the Lab. The course lasts between 2 and 3 hours, and is free, although you must register in advance to take part.

If you are interested in utilising FabLab laser cutters on open access days, this course provides the perfect introduction to get you making.
