Inkscape is an open source 2d design program. It is the main design software used within th Lab for 2d projects. Inkscape allows you to create complex designs to exacting standards, that can then be cut on the Laser Cutter, Vinyl Cutter or Shopbot.

As an open source product, Inkscape is free to download and use, so it is the perfect companion for helping you to realise all of your design ideas.

This 2-3 hour course will instruct you on how to download, install and use Inkscape to create realistic working drawings. If you can use Paint, you can use Inkscape.
